Process Water Exchange Cylinders
The ion exchange process works by passing raw water through the cylinder at the correct flow rates, allowing the mixed bed resin to attract and capture impurities such as ions and minerals.
As a result, the water undergoes demineralisation or deionisation, leading to significantly reduced levels of dissolved solids.
The expected outlet quality of the purified water depends on the initial quality of the feed water. With reasonable quality feed, the outlet water typically achieves conductivity levels between 1 and 0.1 microsiemens, which indicates a highly purified state.
